A metê-lo, todos os Santos ajudam
At the most popular time of the year, all the protection you can get is welcome.
During the Santos Populares, Portugal celebrates Saint Anthony, Saint Peter and Saint John, with street parties running through all of June. It's also the time of year when people ask the saints for help with everything, from love to luck. That's where the idea came from: if the saints already help with everything, they can help when you're struggling to put a Control product on.
"A metê-lo, todos os Santos ajudam" bends a Portuguese saying about things going downhill into a line about putting a condom on. Popular tradition, straight into the brand.
